FIRE (financial independence, retire early) in your 40s is more than possible, even if you don’t have a FI number in mind or a FI timeline. Like many of us, today's guest, Travis, knew that saving, spending less than he earned, and investing the rest would be the right decision. And it sure was! After heavily investing in multiple asset types over two decades, he and his wife are now FI in their 40s (with kids!).

With $80,000/year in cash flow to sustain them, Travis and his family look like the ultimate winners. But it wasn’t always that way. Travis shares about some of his investments that were NOT financial winners, and what he wished he had done differently. But, even with some unfortunate money moves, he still made it to early retirement in his 40s, and says the grind to FIRE is well worth it!
