It's a brand new year! And with the new year comes a lot of new resolutions. People are ready to make changes to their lives. I'm one of them. But a lot of folks (including me) struggle to maintain resolutions. Part of the problem, I think, is that it sucks to be a beginner. When we start something new, we start at the beginning. We lack skill. It's difficult. We don't see immediate results. The reality, however, is that this suckage is part of the process. You can't get to good if you don't start where you are.
