Morning Musings #066: Habit tracking | Get Rich Slowly Video

I am a firm believer in the power of habit tracking. If you want to make a change in your life, if you want to adopt new behaviors, one of the best places to start is by logging your current actions.

When you track how you spend your time, money, and energy, you get a true picture of your actions. Most of the time, this picture is very different from the one we have in our heads. Our actual habits are usually different (sometimes MUCH different) from our perceived habits. But you can't truly be sure until/unless you do some documentation.

When tracking habits, it's important to do so without judgment. Don't try to change what you do at the same time you're doing it. Instead, record actual events. Once you have enough data, THEN you can figure out you want to make changes.
